Said the man on the Internet who pointed it out to the man on the man on the Internet. Yay for self-referential functions!
The only way to break out is for this to be printed, handed to somebody not on the Internet, and have them mail it to us and point out how moronic we are.
But then again, I think the above was insightful enough to disprove the initial premise that everyone on the Internet is a moron.
…
Hello, my name is Anonymous, and I have an Internet problem.
No, Ubuntu is the work of many many hard-working individuals who devote their time, talents, and money to *create* the ultimate Linux distribution. Ubuntu is for grandmothers, wives, and mountain men.
Why is Ubuntu for “noobs”? Because you don’t have to waste 9 hours just getting the most minor things to work? If you’re so sexually frustrated that you need a user-hostile OS to act as your dominatrix, there are plenty of obnoxiously convoluted ones to choose from.
I like Ubuntu, I just am not interested in all the issues of which is better. I think of it as an outfit. find which version fits your personality. I have Suse as well. I actually like Suse more, though it was paid for.

Nice comic, but Gentoo beats out all other distros any day. But Ubuntu’s nice for being the “Windows” of the Linux world.
June 20th, 2008 at 8:13 am
Ubuntu is no Windows in any terms.
If it’s Linux, it’s Linux, and nothing more than that.
P.S.
I’m afraid this comic’s title was taken from my site.
